Choose an appropriate library subject research guide, where you'll find recommended resources for finding articles, books, and more for different subject disciplines (anthropology, biological sciences, etc.). If you're not sure of your topic, most guides have a tab or sub-tab for finding background information. The resources there can help you find topic overviews and aspects of a topic that interest you. You also can explore general topic keywords in the article databases to read abstracts of recent articles, get ideas, and see what's available.
Contact a librarian if you have questions about any of the library's resources or how to use them. For clarification of specific class assignments and requirements, check with your professor.
